Hestia Befriending

A befriending scheme that matches service users who are feeling lonely or isolated with volunteer befrienders from the local community.

Hestia support people at the moment of crisis and enable them to build a life beyond a crisis. We are supported by more than 460 volunteers across London who provide specialist skills such as art therapy, yoga, IT, gardening and cooking, as well as befriending and fundraising.

All volunteers receive training and the opportunity to gain the Mental Health First Aid qualification.

If you would like to volunteer as a befriender, or are interested in having a befriender work with you, please call the phone number below. If you are interested in what being a befriender with hestia is like, then please see the website.
